报告题目：Uniform designs and its application

报告摘要： With the development of science and technology, experimenters may face the complexity such as multi-factors, nonlinear and unknown model between factors and responses. Then, it is very important to reasonably organize the experiments and experimental design is a suitable tool. Uniform design is an important type in experimental designs, and its mean idea is to scatter the design points uniformly on the experimental domain. The number of runs in uniform design can be more flexible than orthogonal arrays. In this talk, the measures of uniformity, some construction methods and the applications of uniform designs will be introduced.

报告人简介：周永道，南开大学统计与数据科学学院教授、博士生导师。入选南开大学百名青年学科带头人计划。研究方向为试验设计和数据挖掘。2002年毕业于四川大学基础数学专业，2008年获四川大学概率论与数理统计专业博士学位，毕业后留校任教，2015年被聘为教授，2017年9月起任南开大学教授。主持过四项国家自然科学基金、一项天津市自然科学基金重点项目及其它多项纵横向项目。曾访问UCLA、Simon Fraser University、香港大学等高校。在包括统计学顶级期刊 JASA、Biometrika、中国科学等国内外期刊上发表论文四十篇，出版一本英文专著，两本统计学专业教材。曾获国家统计局第十一届统计教学奖一等奖。现为中国数学会均匀设计分会常务委员、秘书长，中国现场统计研究会试验设计分会常务理事，天津市现场统计研究会常务理事，美国《数学评论》评论员。
