报告题目：The classification and representations of ternary quadratic forms of level 4N

报告摘要：Ternary quadratic forms have many connections with other fields such as modular forms and elliptic curves. In this talk, we take use of Jacobi forms and quaternion algebras as tools to deal with problems in ternary quadratic forms of level 4N by genera and explicit formulae for the weighted sums of the number of representations by ternary quadratic forms over classes in each genus. The formulae are expressed by modified Hurwitz class number introduced by Li, Skoruppa and Zhou.

报告人简介：周海港，同济大学教授，博士生导师。研究领域是数论与模形式,特别是在Jacobi形式理论方面做了一些研究工作,解决经典的平方和与线性型联立的丢番图方程组解数问题，给出高阶Jacobi形式空间的维数公式，给出Skew-holomorphic Jacobi形式的迹公式等工作。2008年获德国学术中心DAAD“大学学者和科学家”奖学金资助访问德国锡根大学三个月。2010年收到在印度举办的国际数学大会模形式卫星会议作一小时报告的邀请。多次受邀赴美、法、德、印等国参加自守形式国际会议，并在会议上报告最新研究结果。
