报告摘要:We study the propagation dynamics of diffusive vector-borne disease models in the whole space, which models the spatial expansion of the infected hosts and infected vectors. Due to the lack of monotonicity, the comparison principle can not be directly applied to this system. We establish the spreading speed and minimal wave speed when the basic reproduction number of the corresponding kinetic system is larger than one. When the basic reproduction number of the corresponding kinetic system is not larger than one, it is shown that solutions approach to the disease-free equilibrium uniformly and there is no nontrivial traveling wave solutions. This talk is based on the work joint with Dr. Xinjian Wang and Prof. Shigui Ruan.
报告人简介:林国,男,理学博士,兰州大学伟德国际1946源自英国教授。主要研究领域为微分方程与动力系统,长期关注一些经典反应扩散模型的传播动力学行为,尤其致力于非合作耦合系统的空间传播理论研究。研究工作获得国家自然科学基金等项目资助,研究成果分别于2011年和2021年获得甘肃省自然科学二等奖。
